I still love kids museums! The one in Indy is top notch and one of the best in the country.. we took our son there many times and he looooved it! They had a giant Optimus prime there and little man was freaking out! We just went in our pajamas and had a super relaxing time.. Dave Chihuly has a giant piece of glass work in the middle that is truly breathtaking.. and there is an exhibit for the kids with plastic versions to make their own.. and my son looooved that.. he had a blast! He’s quite the brilliant amazing little artist himself.. something I’ve cultivated in him from a small age..

Nice! I've lived in Central Florida for 14 years and didn't know about most of these places.

Federal parks are free to military who receive a disablement rating in Florida. Just visit a Ranger office, bring your DD-214 and letter of rating. Fill out the paperwork and you get access to all WMA's in Florida. State parks are different so you can visit those without paying. John Pennekamp in Key Largo is a great to go for a few dollars to swim. See the old ship anchors and cannons and much closer than the Dry Tortugas. There's supposed to be a statue of Christ sitting out there too. Marker 88 in Islamorada is the best place for fun. It's a restaurant that has one of the few natural sand beaches, bands and you can snorkel last I checked because nobody kicked us, only asked us to buy something once and I'd been there dozens of times. Just have a dive flag because they run an active boat dock and it's law.

As a Floridian and moving around in South FL, I know some very special places. Problem I see with clips like this, the secrets are out and way to many non Floridians are messing up our State. In 2022 over 700,000 people moved to FL! Many of them bringing their ideologies along.

For half a day!? My last trip down I went both weekend days AND did the nightshine tours both nights! I love Gatorland; the rest of the world can have Disney, lol. Poor Chester died last year; someone tossed a plastic bottlecap into his enclosure, and he ate it. It lodged in his digestive system and they didn't know about it until post mortem exams, but that was the cause of death. I agree the jumparoo show is cringy; I don't bother with that or the 'wrestling' shows, but I do love to feed the big gators at Adventure Hour!

I live here on Panama City Beach and we got rid of spring break year's ago. It is more a family tourist place now. Most people think of us as a party town but that just is not the case anymore.

I was born in Dania Beach South Broward General, lived in Miami for 67 years, We are Retired and Living In Beautiful Historic High Springs Florida. Living in Florida we don’t have 4 Distinct Seasons, we basically have a subtropical climate, we can go Warm, Humid, “Buggy Season” and it can get Cold up in High Spring, to Deep Freeze where water pipes can burst, love your Channel. 🇺🇸👏

I've lived in Palatka, Florida for most of my life. It is about an hour southwest of Jacksonville on the St. John's River. We have Ravine State Gardens Park which is another sinkhole. We also have Florida's oldest dinner, Angels, which is an old train car. It's been in operation since the 30s, I think. It has a diner inside or you can get that classic car-hop experience and have your food brought to your car. There's not much else to do in Palatka unless you come during the Blue Crab Festival which is always a good time.

We do need to protect the waterways and unfortunately too much traffic will destroy natural habitat. Noriced they didn’t limit traffic, just the activities that affect the river. Well thought out.

Hafle food was boring nothing to get excited about. The owner was trying to be a local celebrity not focusing on making great food. I hope the new owners make something out that barn.

There was a time when we kept SW Fla a secret. Take a look at Punta Gorda, FL. "A quaint little drinking village with a fishing problem." My great grandfather who was born on April 1, 1900 was the first police and fire chief. He ran the movie theatre (projector) and his wife, Deedee, sold the tix and popcorn. My grandfather built a house in the downtown area that survived the hurricanes. Unfortunately the new "numb mass" owners tore it down. Broke my eightty-year-old dad's heart.

We loved the shores of Panama. Stayed there a couple times. They have 2 major issues in my opinion. First one being that the elevator is terribly slow. You will wait for 15-20mins no matter when you use it. Morning, night or the middle of the night. Second, the parking is terrible. Tight turns going up and down the parking deck, pulling in and out of your spot (depending on your locating) and you’re too far a way from your room. If you’re lucky enough to get a spot on your floor then you’re good. But chances are that you won’t. So if you have a room on the 5th floor and park on the 6th and you’re just arriving or leaving heading back home. You have to either carry all of your stuff 1 floor (or how ever many floors it is) making multiple trips or wait 20mins for the elevator. But for us, we book rooms with parking in the same floor. The rooms are so nice, the pool is so freaking nice and we just love it there. So it’s worth it for us. We also love Splash resort. It’s way more kid friendly but sometimes kid friendly is too much lol.

I’ve been in the caves in Marianna. What a fun place! I never thought FL had caves, so I had to check it out! You can trail there too!

Loved the caverns! Went there in the mid 80s. Ice cold water in the springs too! Unfortunately I went back to Marianna ,Fl a year later for another reason. Not as much fun as the caverns lol

Went for howl o scream last year after not going to the park for 10+ years. Can definitely agree on how hard it is to navigate the park. Great coasters, especially Iron Gwazi and Cheetah Hunt.
